For the 8:00 am class:

  1. Download the pre-filled notebook about functions. Place it somwhere it can access the power plants and the 2016 shapefiles.

  2. Confirm that the cells “Data loading and preparation” and “Previous work: CA top power plant sources map” work.

For the 9:30 am class:

  1. Read and follow the instructions in the “About the data” section in the reprojecting and merging notes.

  2. Download the pre-class prep notebook for next lesson and follow the instructions to download the countries data and import all the data before class.
